SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY — Chanukah was celebrated by a number of special events this year in Sullivan County. On the first night, there was a grand menorah lighting in front of Dutchess Restaurant in Rock Hill, organized by Rabbi Simcha Zajac of the Chabad and the Rock Hill Business and Community Association. On the third night, there was a menorah lighting at Shop Rite in Monticello, followed by refreshments and crafts. And as seen in these photos, there were celebrations at Rock Hill, Monticello and Liberty.
