The Brick House opens with ribbon cutting

KAUNEONGA LAKE, NY — The Brick House restaurant marked its grand opening on Saturday, December 14 with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Members of the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce, friends and supporters joined owner Angelo Cracchiolo to celebrate the occasion. The Brick House offers fine dining at affordable prices. Hardship fund helps pay energy bills

NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA — For the past 30 years, PPL Electric Utilities’ Operation HELP hardship fund has been assisting income-eligible customers who find themselves in crisis, unable to pay their home energy bills—perhaps to a single parent who lost their job, for example, or a neighbor whose illness has taken a financial toll. Since 1983, Operation HELP has assisted more than 86,000 families and distributed more than $24 million.  Read more

Local builder completes green picnic area in Delaware State Park

MILFORD, PA — Ed Nikles Custom Builder, Inc. recently completed a new picnic area at Lily Pond’s trailhead and forest demonstration area in Delaware State Park.
