Pike still awaiting state bridge decision

MILFORD, PA — Pike County is still awaiting PennDOT confirmation about its share of the costs for restoration of Milford’s Mott Street Bridge.

Monticello man charged with child sexual conduct

The Sullivan County Family Violence Unit, in conjunction with SP Liberty BCI, have arrested Leon Fountain, age 35 of Monticello, for Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child in the First Degree (Class B Felony) and Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Class A Misdemeanor). Fountain is accused of engaging in sexual acts with a child less than thirteen years old over an extended period of time. Fountain was arraigned in the Village of Monticello Court and remanded to Sullivan County Jail pending a future court appearance.
